He helps clients navigate the complex and challenging global container shipping environment from ports and infrastructure commercial viability studies to commercial strategy in the industry. As a veteran in transportation, Nino brings his global experience as product manager, commercial leader, revenue enablement professional and industry subject matter expert.
Formerly as senior executive and global leadership team member for A.P. Moller Maersk, Nino worked in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the USA. He was Head of Sales for Latin America and ATD award-winning Global Head of Sales Enablement. He was recognized as a Top Sales Director given his successful results and deep expertise in sales leadership, revenue operations and sales enablement.
He complements his sales leadership with his experience as Line (Product) Manager for Transpacific services and Head of Trade and Marketing.
As Consultant & Advisor he has developed several commercial strategies for different clients. In 2020, Nino was chosen by the Mexican Government as Principal Advisor for the CIIT Agency to deliver commercial viability studies of the InterOceanic Corridor Land-Bridge.
Nino earned his Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Phoenix, AZ. He holds leadership and business transformation certificates by the IMD Business School at Lausanne, Switzerland and has a Bachelor of Science in Economics by ESPOL. Nino is a certified Coach & Facilitator by Mind Gym at London, UK. He also has postgraduate studies in Logistics Management, Maritime Law and Chartered Shipbroker.
